Athletics Carnival this Thursday
A final reminder that our school Athletics Carnival is being held this Thursday 31st July at Rotary Field, Mowbray Avenue. Please remember to bake some yummy treats to bring along to sell in our P&C Canteen. We would love to see cupcakes, slices, brownies, jellies and other treats. Please deliver to the oval during the morning of the carnival or if you are unable to attend please drop any items to the office foyer at school between 9 & 9.25am so we can take them down. Gluten free items will be placed on a separate table clearly marked and with a different coloured table cloth for easy identification. As always please ensure items are nut free. I will send out the price list on Tuesday morning. If we have rain on Thursday the back up date for the carnival is the following Thursday (7th August).
Our second sushi day lunchtime fundraiser has been scheduled for Thursday 14th August – the order form will be ready next week. We will also be having a sausage sizzle on the night of our Science Under the Stars as well as our annual fun run in September.
We are still seeking someone to help out with the notices that go on the four small noticeboards that are located around the school. This job requires about 10 minutes of time once a week just to take off old notices and add the new ones. Please email me if you are able to help out with this simple job.
One last position we are looking to fill at the end of this year is the job of band treasurer – Shann Curtin our current treasurer is stepping down at the end of this year and she would like to start a handover during term 4 so there is a smooth transition in 2015. If you are able to help with this job or would like more information please drop me and email so we can chat some more.
