Book Week & Science Under The Stars
Book Week Celebrations kick of this week and Kate Westoby has a wonderful programme organised for everyone. On Tuesday the children are invited to come to school dressed as their favourite book character (preferably no super heroes) – there is no book parade for parents to attend this year but lots of fun for the children. Please see the email sent home from school last week for full details of the weeks programme.
As Science under Stars was postponed last week we hope the weather forecast for this week looks much brighter and we are able to proceed this coming Friday 29th August. As per last weeks event we will be running a sausage sizzle fundraiser on the night so bring your money to buy some dinner and a drink. The K-2 Mini Athletics Carnival is being held on Monday as well as the zone athletics carnivals on Thursday and Friday – best of luck to everyone competing!
