Term 2 Week 5

Masquerade Party Wrap Up

Wow what an amazing night Saturday’s Masquerade Party was – I am sure there were a few sore heads Sunday morning and a few tired band parents who were out supporting the kids at today’s Band Competitions!  The night was a HUGE success and many thanks goes to an amazing team headed up by Clare Dunstan, who produced an outstanding night of entertainment for us all to enjoy while raising funds for the school.  We are still tallying up the funds raised from the event and will bring you the results in the next few days. We send congratulations to Clare for bring the event to life and thank the wonderful team who pulled it all together and spent many hours rebonding this afternoon over empty beer bottles while we transformed the hall back to its former self ready for assembly on Monday afternoon (it was not pretty which means a good night was had by all).

Special thanks go to these wonderful parents who went above and beyond with their contribution to the night:-
Deborah Eburne & her decorating team for the incredible job on the hall, Lisa Noone for an amazing job co-ordinating the fabulous prizes, Michelle Manners for food co-ordination, Natasha Hasemer for the beautiful invitations, posters and graphics, Richard Wentworth-Ping for MC’ing the evening, Heather Fielding creator of some many exquisite masks, Anthony Buckton and his team for running the bar, Michelle Burton for a amazing job cleaning and decorating the bathrooms.  Many thanks to Samantha Hayes (yr 1 teacher) and Jeanette Cope for the support they provided to the team.  Finally a big thank you also to our event sponsor First National Real Estate.  There were many others that assisted on the evening and we thank everyone who came along and partied long into the night!  We look forward to sharing more over the coming days!

Finally the book fair finishes up on Monday – you can visit to make final purchased between 9-9.25am and 3.25-4pm.    Please contact Kate Westoby if you have any questions.
