Parent Cocktail Parties & Kids Disco
The first of our Cocktail Parties begin next Saturday night with the Kindy families getting together for a fun social evening. RSVP’s are now due for this event so if you are still to purchase your tickets please do so by visiting the P&C Website here. Years 1, 2 & 3 also are being held in the coming weeks so keep the RSVP’s coming in.
The annual term 1 disco is also fast approaching and will be held on Thursday 6th of March in the school hall. This is a great night for all the kids to enjoy with our regular DJ Andy who does a fantastic job of keeping everyone entertained all evening. The infants disco kicks off at 5pm and the primary disco at 6.30pm. The price for this years disco is $10pp includes entertainment, pizza and a drink – please visit the disco page of the website here to find out all the details and make your booking – you will find you can get to any event from the home page of the website where you will see a heading on the right hand column that says “Pay for an event”.
Just a note also on websites – we have two websites within the school – one which is run by the P&C and another that is looked after by the teachers and office staff. The information you will find on both is different and relates to who is organising the activities or event. For example, at last weeks Parent Information evening there was a lot of information given out about the new homework policy – this information is available on the school website (here) along with other class, learning and curriculum information. All information about cocktail parties, the disco, fundraising etc. will be found on the P&C website.
In your child’s bag last week you should have received your info pack about P&C funding and annual contributions. If you did not receive yours please let me know and I will make sure another one is sent home this week.
