Term 1, Week 6

Fees & Disco this week

We are holding our first disco for the year this Thursday evening in the school hall. There is still time to book for what is always the most popular event of the year on the kids social calendar.  We will be serving pizza and drinks to everyone so please have your RSVP’s in asap so we can order the food.  We would like all cash payments in to the office by Tuesday afternoon but can still take online payments up until Wednesday afternoon.  Visit the website here to find out all the details and make your booking.

P&C fee contributions are due to be paid by Monday 3rd March as per the letter sent home from our P&C President, Peter Gallagher.  It is easy to make your payment online by clicking here.  Alternatively you can pay via direct debit or cheque – all options are listed on the form in the pack you received.

The first of our cocktail parties was held on Saturday evening and we thank Helen and James Eldershaw for hosting the Kindy get together. Next Saturday will be the year 3 party followed by year 1 the weekend after.  You can make your booking on the P&C Website here.

I have had a few questions on paypal payments this week so just to clarify that while we use paypal for our online collection system you DO NOT need a paypal account to make a payment via our website.  All you do is click on the link which takes you to the paypal system and at the bottom of the login screen you will find a place to select credit card payments without having to have a paypal account.  Of course if you would prefer you can take cash for any events to the office.

Also on the website we have added a tab to the Communication Page called Year Specific.  Under this tab you will be able to find information that is just relating to your year. For example messages from parents who are looking for players for teams, sporting clubs registration info or info that your year co-ordinator wants to have available ongoing for everyone to find easily.

One final message regarding ethics teachers.  If you are interested, and you can spare 30-40 minutes a week, you can become an ethics teachers at our school with training and on-going support on offer.  Please email Sally Rajaratnam who is the Ethics Co-ordinator for more info.
