P&C Meeting this Tuesday
Sending Mothers Day wishes to all the mums for today – we hope you all had a lovely day celebrating. There has been a few questions asked about our traditional mothers day stall fundraiser that we have held in the past. We have had a year off to focus on a few other events and also so we can revamp the system for a return in 2015 that will be bigger and better – we are looking for more members to join the Mothers Day/Fathers Day team to pull it all together so if you are interested please send me an email.
Thank you to our families in KC, 1H & 1J for the wonderful afternoon tea stall last Friday afternoon. We raised a fantastic $1,250.00 which goes towards classroom resources. We will hold another afternoon tea stall later in term 2.
If you came along to the afternoon tea stall on Friday you will also have seen the gorgeous painting by Georgina Hart that will be on sale at the Masquerade Party as well as the beautiful masks that the P&C are selling for the evening. The painting will be on display in the office foyer during the week and Heather will also be back selling her handmade masks under the Primary Cola next Friday afternoon. If you would like to pre-order a mask please do so by emailing Heather Fielding and she will create a mask that co-ordinates with your outfit for the night – both mens and ladies masks are available for $20 each.
If you have not already done so it is time to visit the website to book your tickets for the Masquerade Party. Please click here to go straight to the Party page on the P&C website. For further information please contact Clare Dunstan and again keep those wonderful prize donations coming.
The first book fair for the year takes place in the library from the 20th -26th May. Kate Westoby is still looking for a few volunteers to fill her the roster – please reply directly to the school office if you are able to assist.
Finally our next P&C meeting for the year is being held in the staff room on Tuesday evening at 7.30pm – we are always keen for parents to become more involved in school activities so please come along to hear about our plans for the coming months. The minutes for our April meeting can be found here.
