Term 4 Week 6

Tomorrow sees the final day of the book fair which coincides with Grandparents Day as well as the Corroboree Frog Fundraiser.  Children are invited to come dressed in yellow and black and/or a Corroboree Frog mask.  A $2 donation will be collected from everyone during the day.  

Last Friday’s Afternoon Tea stall was lots of fun and I will have the total raised for you in next weeks update  – many thanks to the families from 2B, KW & KA for all their delicious baked treats.  We have one final afternoon tea stall in a few weeks time – more info soon.

Our next P&C meeting is on Tuesday evening this week.  You can find the minutes of the previous meeting as well as the agenda here.   We now have two meetings left for the year and we are desperate to find a new treasurer to take over from Tim Warren who is stepping down from the roll in a few short weeks.  If you are looking for a great way to become more involved with the school and give a little back to the community then we would love to hear from you.  You do not need to be at school regularly for this role as most work is done online.   We are also looking at the possibility of this role being split between two people so one person can look after the spreadsheets and formal accounts work and another person to assist with bill payments and any receipting and banking.  If you are interested in finding out more please email me for more info.

Two more transition days for our new kindy children are being held this week.  If you have a child joining the Kindergarten Class of 2015 and you haven’t yet filled in the P&C communication form please visit the website here to get your name on the list for updates on a play in the park over the Christmas break.  We will also use these lists to start to prepare class lists once school is back in the new year.
